When you buy a new roof, you want to be sure that it is designed to last, and will give you years of trouble-free use. The team at Meopham Roofers And Builders is committed to quality, and to ensure our roofs give you added peace of mind, we include competitive guarantees on all roof renewals, both pitched and flat.
We have put together a brief guide on what our guarantees mean for you, but if you would like more detail, please feel free to get in touch with our Gravesend-based experts.
Your guarantee, explained
Our insurance backed guarantees are issued by The Confederation of Roofing Contractors (CORC), who are representatives of their FCA-approved insurance company.
The guarantee is in place to provide peace of mind, and ensure that your roof meets the expected standards. Should anything go wrong with your roof as a result of our installation or product defects - within the specified timeframe - we would repair the issue at no additional cost to you.
-
Do I pay extra for a guarantee? No, this is included with all new installations of pitched and flat roofs.
-
Do I need to register my guarantee elsewhere? We will ensure that your guarantee is in place, and that you have documentation to validate it, should anything go wrong.
-
How long does my guarantee last? This depends on the roofing product we have installed, but we will let you know what your guarantee period is.
-
What does it cover? The guarantee will cover our work, and the materials we supplied and used.
-
What does it not cover? The guarantee does not cover issues unrelated to the quality of materials or installation, such as ‘acts of God’ (e.g. storm damage), accidents, vandalism, theft or improper use.
-
What happens if I sell my home? The remaining guarantee period would pass on to the new homeowner.
-
If you go out of business, will I still be covered?Should this ever happen, the insurance company which covers the guarantee will take over.
-
Are repairs guaranteed? We currently only offer guarantees on new installations.
